Titans Track and Field Fight Foul Weather at Western Oregon

EUGENE, OR -- On Friday and Saturday last week, the Lane Titans track and field team, ran and jumped through rain, wind and multiple lightning delays to post several finishes inside the Lane All-Time Top 10 list. 
 
Highlights from head coach Chris Yorges:
 
The women were led by several top performances beginning with Isabella Abrahams who cleared 12'7.5" in the pole vault (4th best in LCC history) and Jessame Pope's No. 6 all time mark in Lane history in the triple jump with a mark of 37' 9.5".
 
Several women had marks that place them in the top ten of the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC): Payton White with a No. 3 mark in the 100 hurdles (16.78) and No. 9 in the 400 hurdles (1:13.53). Molly Mucken moved into No. 6 for the discus, and No. 8 for the hammer (124' 4").
 
Thianna Deng threw the shot put 36' 11.5" (No. 6 in NWAC), Paizlei Tucker (No. 4 NWAC) pole vault 11'1.75", Alana Tessen jumped 33' 5.25" in the triple jump (No. 8 NWAC), Elsa Long finished the  800 meters in 2:28 (No. 9 NWAC), Eva Jensen ran the 400 meters in 1:02 (No. 7 NWAC), and Lilly Krisky finished the 400 meters in 1:00 (No. 6 NWAC).
 
The men had a successful two days as well with Logan Moreno's 21.89 200 meter finish (No. 4 NWAC). Sophomore Andrew Rush posted a personal best in the 800 meter in 1:56.94 (No. 7 NWAC). Teammate Robbie Johnston followed with a 1:59.79 in the 800 (No. 10 NWAC) and Conner Lamb ran the 5000 meters in 15:53 (No. 10 NWAC). Jumper Tristan Keopadapsy jumped 42'1.25 in the men's triple jump (No. 9 NWAC).
