Mamadouba "Papa" Yansane has been named the NWAC Southern Region Offensive Player of the Year.

These honors come after an elite season for Yansane.

The sophomore from Willamette High School finished the season with a team-leading 9 goals.

This mark is good for 15th in the NWAC, and doing it in only 11 matches played.

He also dished out 3 assists this season.

6 of Yansane's came in the form of a back-to-back hat trick, scoring 3 goals against Pierce on September 21st and another 3 against Chemeketa on September 28th.

While the Titan's season did not end the way they had hoped, Yansane's great career at Lane is capped off with a well-deserved Player of the Year award.
